In a surreal world, where love lasts forever and death only in the end credits, in which no conversations are held, but only dialogues, in which one has to justify one's moral responsibility neither to God nor to oneself, but only to an imaginary audience , the young pickpocket Felix is looking for togetherness and a way to become "someone".

The Berlin teacher Anna Wiegand takes over the management of the elementary school of a contemplative Black Forest village. But the attempt of the dedicated teacher to bring a fresh breeze into the well-worn school life, met with her stubborn colleagues in the province on little love. When Anna also approaches the local size, Count Alexander von Schönberg, whose daughter reveals a long covered reading weakness, she finally brings him up against her.

Headhunter Laura Petersen is hired by Dr. Egon Wirtz to offer his ambitioned younger colleague Hans Bergmann a position at their competitor Giga Pharma. Thereby he wants to compromise him, while both apply for the same management position in their company. Bergmann is immediately attracted to the stunning blonde, and realizes the intrigue much too late. While Laura's much too professional to return his feelings, she agrees to help him when she learns how she's been misused.
